A community-led workshop supported by Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People

Join this informative and interactive workshop based in Henderson-Massey Local Board Area where you’ll:

  • Explore the history of the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s founding document

  • Discover what the Treaty means to you as a newcomer to New Zealand

  • Learn what the Treaty actually says, and what happened after it was signed

  • Practice responding to job interview questions about the Treaty of Waitangi

  • Begin the first steps to becoming a facilitator

Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.

Priority will be given to people who live and work in the Henderson- Massey Local Board Area.
