In this training you will explore how to support others to develop their speaking and presentation skills, in order for them to deeply connect with and inform other cultures.
The programme will build your own skills, knowledge, and confidence to empower other ethnic community leaders and other community members to effectively share their own unique stories.
By the end of the programme you will have a set of training plans and a wealth of ideas for delivering your own training on how to share stories though memorable presentations.
This is a highly interactive training programme – we will be learning and doing at the same time – as well as having some fun!
Build your own facilitation and teaching skills and knowledge.
Explore what effective facilitation is in a cross cultural context and build your own training tool box.
Participate in a presentation skills workshop that you can recreate and deliver yourself.
By the end of the day you will have prepared a story-telling presentation that informs and influences cross-cultural understanding
In the weeks following you will be supported to go out and deliver your presentation
Come back together debrief your presentation delivery and share what you all learnt.
You will leave with a draft personal development plan to further build your facilitation and teaching practice.
