The AMARTE Project provides refugee and migrant background women with free hospitality training that helps them gain employment, seek further education or start their own business in the hospitality industry.
The project is a joint initiative with New Zealand Ethnic Women Trust, led by Belong Aotearoa and is tailored to the needs of these women delivering culturally appropriate and recognised training on:

Baking (New Zealand ‘Kiwi’ recipes)
Coffee making (barista)
Hospitality industry (regulations and work culture)
Catering activities (enterprise focus)

Duration: Three months – Compulsory attendance Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings
Location: The Roskill Youth Zone & at the Wesley Centre, 740 Sandringham Rd
